Most of what we accomplish is because we stand on the shoulders of giants.

From early years Colin insists on mentioning:

  • Mum and Dad, for great love and support, and a great start in life.
  • Grandma, Grandad, GrandPop, Aunties Barbara, Joan (x2!) and Muriel, Great Grandma and Grandad Piper and cousins. A loving, honest, strong and united family.
  • Big brother Steve, for putting up with me!

Colin is grateful to thousands of people who have influenced him for good. Many have been absolute giants as mentors, and this has inspired Colin’s own mentoring and coaching work in adult life. There are too many to mention them all; some worthy mentions are given on the History page where you can read more on them.

Colin thanks them all and struggles continually to honour their great spirits and legacies.
